Try it, change it, talk about it, buy it.

RSG makes art accessible by creating a community of stewardship in addition to ownership. We sell original works by local artists and also rent them at a fraction of the purchase price. All of the rental and sales revenue directly sustains local artists and the Portland Art Museum. Here’s how it works:

Become a member of the Portland Art Museum

Renting original fine art from the Rental Sales Gallery is a benefit of Museum membership. Memberships can be set up here.

Rental terms and conditions apply

After three months, you have the option of renewing the piece for an additional three months (six months total). The option to buy is available at any time.

For a small fee, RSG also offers delivery and installation services in the Portland Metro area. We also offer design and consultancy services.

At the end of the rental period, renew, return or buy

When your rental is completed, you have the option either return it (and rent other works) or purchase it. Works can be paid for in full, or we offer flexible, interest-free, purchase installment plans. Please inquire directly with staff to learn more about your options.

A direct purchase from a member of the public is welcome at any time.
